Analyse which other music videos inspired your ideas (P17)
Coldplay's song, The Scientist has inspired me a lot for our own music promo; using a similar narrative idea of going back in reverse to a bad time; this also links to the lyrics of the song. The specific verse that does this to the narrative of this song is 'let's go back to the start' which is why the video has been done in reverse. It has inspired me with my idea to have the story of the video shown backwards, intriguing the viewers and making them want to watch more.
Alt-J's music video, Breezeblocks has been created in a similar way to Coldplay's by having the whole thing in reverse. This specific promo shows a fight happening, and who you think is the bad person and good person switches; it is only towards the end of the video where we actually find out. I like how this keeps a mystery
