I looked at our chosen songs lyrics alongside the music video paying close attention to where the scenes cut and change. I have placed forward dashes in the lyrics where this happens to see if there is a pattern and if it cuts to the beat. This has helped us for our prelim to know how many shots we are going to need and where they will be in the song.

So this is what you meant
